EZ Charger Rental, LLC ("EZ Charger Rental," "we," "us") operates self-serve portable phone-charger rental kiosks at stadiums, arenas, festivals, and other venues. During sponsored promotions, a guest can get a free charger rental by texting a promotion keyword shown on the kiosk sign to (313) 800-8123. This page explains that program, called EZ Charger Rental Offers, and shows exactly what guests see and receive.

Separate program. EZ Charger Rental Offers is separate from EZ Charger Rental Alerts, our transactional rental program at (313) 800-8054. Texting a promotion keyword opts you in only to messages about that promotion. Consent is never a condition of any purchase.

The kiosk sign

Each participating kiosk displays a sign like the one below. The keyword and sponsor name change by promotion (for example, DEMO). The phone number, consent language, and links are the same on every sign.

How it works

The guest reads the sign. The consent language is printed directly under the keyword, before the guest sends anything.
The guest texts the keyword from their own phone to (313) 800-8123. Sending the keyword is the guest's express consent to receive the messages described on the sign.
EZ Charger Rental releases a charged battery and replies with the slot number. The reply identifies EZ Charger Rental, may include a short message and link from the promotion's sponsor, and repeats the HELP and STOP instructions.
Up to 3 more texts may follow about the same promotion, such as a return reminder or a sponsor offer. No more than 4 messages are sent per promotion.

Promotion rules

Free charges are limited per phone number and per promotion, and are available only while the promotion is active and charged batteries are in the kiosk.
Please return the battery to any EZ Charger kiosk when you are done.
Promotions do not include alcohol, tobacco, vaping, cannabis, gambling, or lending offers.
