EZ Charger Rental, LLC ("EZ Charger Rental," "we," "us") operates the EZ Charger Rental Alerts program, which sends transactional and account text messages from (313) 800-8054 to people who opt in. These terms explain who receives messages, how each group opts in, and how to stop.
No marketing. This program sends only transactional and account messages. This program does not send marketing or promotional texts (sponsored free-charge promotions are a separate program described on our Free Charge Offers page), and consent to receive texts is never a condition of any purchase, partnership, or employment. The program has two groups of recipients. Each group opts in separately, in the way described below.
How to opt in. Each text-to-rent kiosk displays a sign that reads: "Out of battery? Text [rental code] to (313) 800-8054 to rent a portable phone charger." Directly under the code, the sign states that by texting the code, the customer agrees to receive transactional text messages about their rental, that message frequency varies, that message and data rates may apply, and that they can reply HELP for help or STOP to cancel. The rental code depends on the location (for example, CARDS1 at Busch Stadium). Texting the code is the customer's express consent. What customers receive. A secure checkout link for the kiosk, rental start and return confirmations, return reminders, receipts, refund updates, and replies to support requests. Messages relate only to the customer's own rental.
Sample message: "EZ Charger Rental: Your charger was returned successfully. Rental time: 1 hr 12 min. Receipt: https://app.ezchargerrental.com/receipt. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel."
How to opt in. Complete the consent form at the bottom of this page: enter your name and mobile number and check the consent box. The box is never pre-checked, and you can use the service without opting in. We keep a record of each consent.
What you receive. Install and service scheduling, kiosk offline and back-online alerts, restock and event-day logistics, and account notices such as report and payout availability.
Sample message: "EZ Charger Rental: Kiosk at Busch Stadium Sec 132 is offline. A technician is dispatched, ETA 45 min. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel."
Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts. Reply START to resubscribe. Reply HELP for help, call (313) 800-7766, or email info@ezchargerrental.com. You can also ask us to remove your number by email.

Mobile numbers and consent records are handled under our Privacy Policy and are used only to send the messages described on these terms and to manage your preferences. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from every category of information sharing in our Privacy Policy.
Rental customers do not need this form. They opt in by texting the rental code on the kiosk sign.

EZ Charger Rental, LLC may update these terms from time to time. The most current version will always be available at this URL. Material changes will be communicated to active participants before they take effect.
